Fort Worth Carrier Corporation, a dedicated fleet for Dillard's Department Stores, has an immediate opening for an experienced  Fleet Shop Manager. We require a minimum of 5 years diesel mechanic experience, your own tools, good driving record, CDL and good work history.  Please only apply if you have a minimum of 5 years experience on late model class 8 tractors and a minimum of 3 years experience as a Supervisor.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate with Maintenance Director regarding Maintenance Responsibilities​​​​
• Troubleshoot fleet maintenance issues
• Coordinate with Dispatch regarding readiness of equipment and necessary repairs 
• Prioritize and assign work duties to technicians
• Supervise all Maintenance Personnel
• Purchase and Maintain parts and inventory 
• Manage and approve hourly payroll
• Supervise equipment repair of all fleet equipment as per Company Maintenance Policy
• Oversee Maintenance of Yard equipment, Dollies and miscellaneous equipment
• Oversee and approve all purchase transactions related to Parts and Services and Facility
• Responsible for Facility Cleanliness, Safety and Maintenance
• Oversee and/or Perform required FMCSA Annual Inspections on all equipment
• Coordinate after hours service needs for all equipment

Knowledge Requirements include:

• Knowledge of FMCSA maintenance requirements
• Bumper-to-Bumper preventive maintenance service and/or repair to tractor
• Bumper to Bumper preventative maintenance and/or repair to Trailers and Dollies
• Preventive maintenance on miscellaneous equipment
• Electrical and electronic troubleshooting
• The ability to identify the source of malfunctions using a variety of electronic tools
• ABS brake system repair
• Engine diagnostics and repair
• After-treatment system diagnostics, repair and maintenance
• Air conditioning system repair
